1st Trimester

when did you feel better?

At what point in your first tri did you start to feel better? The crazy extreme soreness of my boobs went away around 7 weeks. They are still a little sore. And I haven't been naseous in almost a week. Even my energy levels are getting a little bit better. I am tired, but not to the point where my body feels like dead weight like it did a few weeks ago.

Now I am just getting paranoid. I have no reason to think that there is anything wrong. Just looking to see when all of your symptoms started to alleviate in either this pregnancy or a previous one. Thanks!

Re: when did you feel better?

  • My symptoms went away for a bit last week, but now they are back with a vengeance. This is overall the worst I've felt all trimester.

With DD, my first tri was mostly fatigue and brain-deadness, as far as I can remember. I do know, though, that by the time we traveled to the UK at 13 weeks or so, I was feeling good. Pregnant, but good.

My boobs were less sore around 6.5 weeks and my nausea has greatly decreased in the last few days. Symptoms definitely come and go though so don't feel paranoid!

  • The worst of the nausea went away at 8 weeks (where I was always feeling awful) to slowly going away to more random bouts of nausea.

Boob soreness went from more general ouchie to more specific random sharp pains.

The exhuastion hasn't really changed at all yet- Im still a lump. Still peeing constantly.

  • I'm 12 weeks and 3 days and I just started to feel better when I hit 12 weeks.  My boobs went from being extremely sore to just feeling full.  The nausea was really bad from weeks 7-9 then from weeks 9-11 it would come and go.  When I hit the 12 week mark I started to feel surprisingly normal.  The fatigue has really become better and hardly any nausea.  Now I'm paranoid because I feel so good. LOL
  • Last time I was nauseous through week 16. I figure out later that when people say "3 months of misery" referring to the first tri, that since the first month didn't count, I got to be sick until 4 months. Blech.

This time I'm still waiting for symptoms.
