Bad feeling

I just have this nasty feeling like my LO isn't alive anymore. I have no reason to think this (no spotting, symptoms are OK, etc.). I just can't shake it.

LO was measuring perfectly at 8w2d with a HB of 170+. I did hear LO's HB for like 3 seconds behind lots of static on my home doppler at 10 weeks. I tried again at 11 weeks and couldn't find anything, which didn't help my fears, of course.

We have our NT scan in six days. I just have a feeling when we get there, we will get bad news.

Ugh. Give me some happy thoughts.

I'm sending good vibes your way. I'm not far along but that fear that LO won't make it is in my mind. I think it is normal.

I have had those feelings off and on...it is weird because we are not showing, we can't feel the baby etc.  I have not gotten a doppler because I would be scared to not be able to hear the heartbeat.  Hang in there sister!!!  Your appt will be here soon!  My next one is Friday...

Thanks. Actually, I don't like to use the doppler more than once a week, but after posting this, I decided to try again. I found LO's HB within about a minute (actually a little higher up than I had thought it would be).

I heard mine and LO's on top of each other, and there were two LO beats for each of mine, so it seems like about 160 bpm.

I felt this exact same way as do many if not all of us! It's an awkward stage where you wonder all the time if everything is ok! You just have to relax and enjoy it because I've come to realize there is no sense in worrying! I'm almost 25 wks and can 't believe how fast the time has gone by. It's easier said than done but just know that we've all been there!

I was feeling exactly like this last week.  It is SO hard not to worry before we can feel them moving.  I'm glad you were able to find the HB and ease your mind.

I have the same fears so I don't have any suggestions but just wanted to let you know you are not alone.  I can't wait for my NT on Friday and am at the same time dreading it!

I've had these fears pretty bad too (still have them!). It has recently occured to me though that the hormones aren't helping. Hormones for me bring out fears a whole lot more.

I think that if you are that worried, then you should call and see if you can get in (at least for a doppler check from an office grade doppler) earlier....I would go crazy waiting.
