Last week I had my nuchal trans ultrasound for DS and abnormalities, but my biggest concern was that the baby wasn't alive. My first ended in a m/c at 6wks, so I'm nervous at everything.
Came back from the appt and everything is perfect! The first nurse that came in Shim wouldn't move no matter what LOL. She got the results and showed them to the Dr. The Dr. came in and started to do another ultrasound but was called out on a code blue. So a few minutes later another doc came in with a resident in training lol. This time Shim kept moving around and flipped over, as if to say "I've had enough!" And I'm pretty sure Shim gave the middle finger. LMAO.
Re: nuchal translucency ultrasound - UPDATE
I have my NT next Monday and I've got the same fear--that the baby's not alive. I realize it's a small chance and I'm not worrying myself over it too much, but it happens everyday. We see it here.
Back to the positive: yay for you! Have a great 28 more weeks!
Jeggomyeggo, I'm going to keep my fingers that everything will turn out perfect, which I'm sure it will anyway! Everyone keeps telling me that I'll feel better once I feel it move around, hearing that helps a little, so I hope if helps you feel a little better.
