I just noticed this board! I wanted to give a small introduction. I'm happy to see a board for older children!

My name is Kalie! I have an 8 year old son and a 1 year old son. I've been married for 3 years and have been a part of the bump since december09. 

I'm excited to see some people with older kids. They are definitely so much different than the toddlers and have their own set of interesting challenges! its nice to meet you all!!

Hi and welcome!

I have 2 school-aged kiddos: a son who is 7 and about to finish 1st grade, and a daughter who is 11 and about to finish 6th grade.  I also teach middle and high school English, and I have worked for many years as a private tutor for kids with mild learning disabilities.
