Timing contractions is jinxing me :(

It seems like the past couple of nights I have starting timing my contractions, because they are getting painful. I have random ones throughout the day but nothing regular. But 10pm rolls around and they start to get somewhat regular and painful. But as soon as DH busts out the paper and pen, 2 hours later, they become less regular and then just stop I'm getting so frustrated! I've decided NO MORE TIMING! I'm a 3rd time mom, so I know how painful they get....I won't start timing now until its getting pretty serious. Again....FRUSTRATED!

this is what I am worried will happen to me. Once contractions start I want them to end in labour.

I'd kill for contractions that I could time. I'll have a HUGE one and think omg this is it, most painful contraction ever... and then it fades... and I get nothing else. THAT is frustrating.

4 days of random painful contractions in a row.  Today I got one so bad that I almost fell over and couldn't talk.  And then it stopped.  And I was like AAHHHHH QUIT TEASING ME.

Thanks! I am super excited about his name too! I didn't want something that was super popular but at the same time had a unique and classic quality.
