Not in time to inseminate this weekend, but I'm looking on the bright side - I need to have some dental work done (wisdom teeth extraction - UGH), so I'll get on it NOW so we can jump on it next cycle if they're around (there are a number of trips planned, so it may not happen until September).

Again: aslkaksjaksjakjskajskajskajskajkajskajskajs!!!!!!!!!

    Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
    9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    Yay!!!!
    Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm.  I am 35 and carrying.  Endometriosis and DOR.
    AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish

    IVF #1 - antagonist.  Empty follicle syndrome.  1 retrieved, 0 fertilized.
    IVF #2 - antagonist.  Ovulated early.  3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 0 blasts

    So exciting! Congrats!  I remember that moment: truly incredible.

    Will you be working with a lawyer to sign legal forms?  Just checking since you mentioned inseminating in the next cycle--depending on the state you are in, that can be an important part of the process (to protect him from being financially and legally responsible for the child if something happens to you, for example).  

    We also  found that going through these forms helped us lay out some standards that made it easier as we went through the process (ie: how many cycles will we try?  What expectations do we have regarding the donors own sexual activity from now until trying?)

    You've probably got this covered and it's different state to state, but just making sure---if you have questions, just ask! :)

    Yay!!  I'm happy for you!!  Hopefully you'll be able to get started on a little brother or sister next month!
