Aches... HELP!

My entire body aches. Well almost. My arms and hands and knees don't.... but everything else does! I'm not working anymore but I have tons of things I need to do around the house. But everything it tired sore and weak... like when you get the flu. I'm not sick but for 2 days my body hurts to bad for me to be motivated to do anything useful.... Any suggestions? I've tried baths, and I would like to avoid medicine (yes, even tylenol) at all costs.

I know I get really tired of being asked this question, so sorry for bringing it up. But are you drinking enough water? I get tired and achy when I'm dehydrated.

And I don't blame you for the meds, the only thing I ever take is Tums.

I drink as much water as my body will allow. It's one of the few things that make me nauseous (only since I've been pregnant). But I try to squeeze in 4-6, 16oz glasses a day.  And don't apologize. That's my doctor's answer to everything!

I don't know if it's as hot where you are as it is here, but we are having 85-90 degree weather..and although that seems like an adequate amount of water it could be the reason you're achy if you're sweating a lot or getting dehydrated from the heat! My OB was crazy about it the last appointment, making sure to tell me to "get as much water in as you can!" multiple times haha...

Haha I live in Texas so, yeah. It's friggin hot! But I don't go outside much lately and when I do I always drink extra water. But it is hard when I'm sitting at home because just sitting around drinking water makes my stomach really upset. I drink other fluids thoughout the day too, like milk and juice (no citrus though, it's the other thing that makes me sick) and very rarely do I drink a soda or coffee so I think I'm staying hydrated. I always get BH in the evening which I think is weird because I drink the most water in the afternoon and evening.

  • I know its hard to get the motivation, but yoga helps me a ton. It just stretches everything and really relaxes my body. I used to have really bad aches, and finally my doc mentioned yoga helping and I'm so glad I listened. The days I don't do it, I definitely feel achey and sore. GL and I hope you feel better!
