After 22 months of charting, I've realized a few things about my body, specifically when I'm getting ready to ovulate. They're all super pleasant. Haha
A few days prior to/on the day of ovulation, I get the O pain, I get nauseous and I get (TMI, so sorry)... poopy. Ugh! Makes me feel super sexy, let me tell ya. I'm sure that when Abe and I are TTC, O-day sex will be just lovely! Haha ![]()
Does/did anyone else experience these types of symptoms around O? Do you know what I can do to perhaps lessen the nausea/"other" issues?
I suppose an upside is that these symptoms are just another way to know I'm ovulating...
Re: Ovulation and Nausea
The nausea and poopiness could be from higher levels of prostaglandins (basically the chemical cause of O pain and menstrual cramps, as well as the other fun symptoms.)
You could try some Ibuprofen. It blocks the stuff that makes the prostaglandins, which is how it helps relieve the symptoms.
