Nate LOVED Hippotherapy

I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time..

An SLP is the one behind the horse and two volunteers walk along side of Nate holding his legs. It was really awsome. DH and I had a ball watching.

Re: Nate LOVED Hippotherapy

  • Awesome! We are doing hippotherapy camp this summer and I can't wait.

  • This week we are going to practice saying "walk-on!" The therapist stops the horse a few times while going around the ring and he is supposed to pat the horse a couple times and say 'walk-on!" to get her to move. I hope by next week we at least have the syllables and a "k" sound in there somewhere. "w" will be tough, though.

  • Yay! Great picture!

DS2 has been doing hippotherapy for 2mos now and I swear I've already seen progress!

    Just AWESOME!
  • Gorgeous! Go Nate! Both pics are absolutely precious.
  • I love the photo, he looks so happy!

DD has been doing this since January and she loves it too. She has core strength issues and has been doing situps on the back of the horse. It still amazes me.

  • That's so great!
