Where did you buy your breast pump?

I want to find a good breast pump online that's not at BRU, so where did you buy your breast pump and what kind is it? I'm looking for a double electric one that's not crazy expensive but is still good.

  • I got the Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric Pump from Amazon. It costs about $100 and I added the 10% completion discount towards it. It is the same as the Ameda Purely Yours. The reviews are good.

I like that it is closed system. It doesn't come with a bag (if that matters to you).

My hospital sells them.  I got the Ameda Purely yours for $190.  It works well.  I've seen breast pumps at BRU, Target, & Amazon.

  • I got my Medela PISA on ebay brand new in the box for $200.

  • I'm getting mine from the hospital once we are home and I know I can BF.  The hospital has 30% off BF everything for employees of the larger employers in town.  They are a little more expensive than BRU but 30% off makes it cheaper than anything I've found.

  • I got mine (simplesse) from amazon it was a pretty good deal. It is designed by woman and they have lactation consultants on a 24 hour help line for you included in the cost of buying the pump. I havent given birth yet but have tried it out and it feels pretty comfortable while its going and I've read good things about the product

  • I bought the Avent double electric pump on Amazon. My sister had recommended it and I saw it go on sale one day so I snatched it up. I got it for $170, its usually $200. I had a Lansinoh pump with DD, it worked pretty good for the price, but I had to buy the larger flanges (I'm a D cup, DD when BF) and they weren't very comfortable even then. I am really excited to try the Avent pump bc it has silicone "petals" inside the flanges and my sister said they made the pump very comfortable since they were soft and not hard plastic.
