After finally convincing my SO the Chevy and/or Chevelle would NOT be an option in our names I think we have settled on
Ryan Edward for a boy ( Ryan was SO's brother that drowned in 2007 and Edward is my Grandfathers names)
Makayla Gale ( We both agreed on Makayla and my grandfather is Edward Gale)

BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)
3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!
Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500
First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat
LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!
TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015
Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015
Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270
First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.
JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.
TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]
I cringed.
Ryan Edward is fabulous.
Makayla is an awful spelling. It's trendy and made up. Michaela is a classic, legit name that will grow well with her.

Makayla IS an awful spelling and there is nothing rude about telling people made up spellings are not nice. Spelled correctly is is a beautiful name.

Despite TB's hatred of the spelling of Makayla (I personally don't mind it), it could be waaaay worse. Like Chevy or Chevelle, LOL. Good choices.
Mikayla, Mikaela, Makaela, Mikaila, Mykayla, Mikaylah, and Makaila and he liked Makayla best and like I said I was adiment about my Grandfathers name being the middle name so our comprimise was he got to pick the spelling
THIS right here is why the name Michaela has been ruined for me. OMG.
Ryan Edward is an awesome name.
Gale is an adorable middle name.
IMVHO, if you have a ton of baggage with the name Michael, I would go back to the drawing board for Michaela. If that list above is any indication of how often her name is going to be butchered.... I don't even know what to say.

Agreed. It still sounds like the feminine version of Michael.

Agreed. The only upside I see to the Makayla spelling is that it can be shortened to Kayla.
Agreed. Beside the bizarre spelling, it's more that I don't understand using the feminine version of Michael when that name has so much baggage for your family. It's like your fiancee just wanted a junior so badly this was the only option?
I'd pick a new name to go with Gale!
