Feel bad for SIL (warning preg and m/c mentioned)

Last month DH and I loaned my BIL and SIL money to catch up on bills. After giving them the check, BIL shows DH a picture of an ultrasound. DH and I were upset that they decided to get pregnant again without being in a better financial place (hence the reason for the loan) and all of our IF struggles (I don't think they know about our treatments).  

Yesterday SIL went in for u/s to determine gender of their baby but were told that the amniotic fluid was low. Today they went in for a follow up u/s and it was determined that the fetus had not developed kidneys and or lungs.  The heartbeat was good but that doesn't help without other vital organs. Their OB wants to do another u/s but it doesn't look good. I feel so bad for them.

I was angry and jealous of them at the same time when I heard about the pregnancy.  Part of me feels a bit guilty for having those feelings.We are not particularly close and want to reach out to her. I will give her some time for the shock to subside.  I have had 3 c/p and understand what she is going through, I was never that far along.

How sad. I am sure your thoughts didn't cause any issues. we all have thoughts like those.
