I would like to name our son Preston Beauregard (our last name is Creel), because Beauregard (Beau) is my favorite boy name, and I'm pretty sure my husband can't be talked into any more babies, so I would really like to use the name while I can. I think I would regret it if I never got to use it. But, some say it's too much of a name. What are your opinions on this? In my opinion, we don't often (esp as children) write out our full names, other than using our middle initials, so I don't see why it would be a huge deal. But, I wanted to get some more opinions! Ultimately, we will name him what we like in the end, but I thought I'd ask for opinions and also see if you had any other middle name suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Middle name for baby Preston
I think middle names are an excellent place for meaning, family names, and whimsy.
If you think you'd regret never using this name, go for it.

I'm in the same situation as you! This is most likely our last baby and I've always loved the name Belle I can't talk my husband into using it as a FN but he agreed a MN is fine so I want to use it while I can. It doesn't flow as perfect as I would like it to with the FN we chose but I'm still using it, it may be my last chance!
I like Preston Beauregard (I probably misspelled that)! I think it's cute and preppy, and maybe a little pretentious, but Preston Beau is a good alternative if you want to kind of cut that.
Also, based on your sig pic, your husband is hilarious

I think it's fine for a middle name. He won't have to write it out too often. That said, I think Preston Beau is also a good option if you want to keep it shorter.
