I was originally set on the City Mini GT but then I read horrible reviews for their car seat adapter and I love the car seat that we have chosen. I was looking at the BOB Revolution CE but read that it is so impractical to use as an everyday stroller which is what we want. I will not be jogging with the stroller but DH and I live in the country near the beach and also enjoy light hiking so it should be able to tackle those terrains but I also want it to be practical for my shopping trips. Does this stroller exist?

Re: Recommend your multi-terrain single stroller
We have the City Mini GT. LO isn't here yet and it's still in a box, so I can't recommend it yet or not, but just wanted to say that I had the same dilemma. We have the Chicco Keyfit carseat. While the adaptor would work, it didn't thrill me. So, what we've decided to do is buy the Chicco Keyfit Caddy. We'll leave it in the car and so when we're making quick trips to the store/mall and it's easier to leave her in her car seat we'll use it. However, we'll have the CM GT at home to go on walks or will take it if we're going hiking. The caddy is only maybe $20 more than the adaptor. I'm sure there will be a time or two that we wish we could use the car seat and CM GT together, but after talking to quite a few people, this was the recommendation we got.
Just a thought in case you still are considering the CM GT!! Good luck, it sure is difficult deciding on all the baby gear!!

Everyone wrote that it is extremely flimsy and unsafe and that they could have done the same work with a bungee cord.
Our needs are very similiar and after a lot of research, I think we've decided on the Bumbleride Indie. Not so helpful, since I've yet to lay eyes on it! I would love to hear from others who have it!
The BOB just seems so big to me, and if we aren't going to be jogging with it, it just seems unnecessary. And my husband is 6'6 so the adjustable handlebar on the Indie is very attractive to us as well.
We are getting a baby jogger summit xc - but more importantly we aren't doing an infant seat adapter. I have previous experience using a jogging stroller with a snuzzler: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000DZS720/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00 (FYI not safe in carseats per carseat techs and carseat manuals (despite the claims) I wouldn't use it for a newborn - but I'd say 2-4 months as long as you aren't running and really just strolling.
We also got a snap and go (I think someone else mentioned it) and I plan on baby wearing especially when young. (I got my snap and go used for about $30) We are buying the baby jogger to last until 4 years old.. so the 6 months that it would be a 'hassle' I didn't see an issue.
It is a bigger stroller but the fold on it is a dream and we drive subarus and it will easily fit in our car (my brother and his wife have had one for four years - its the only stroller they use)
Thanks for the input! I thought I had seen a sig pic with the Indie in it!
I try but I live in the boonies and there is never anything good on craigslist! It is mostly people asking for free stuff, lol.
I have the Bumbleride indie and absolutely love it. I've been using it with the carseat adapter (which is built in) since baby was born for long morning walks. It's light, easily maneuvered through most any terrain and looks cool
I was at a family wedding this weekend and we put it in the reclined position and DD slept for hours during the reception.
The only two cons for me...the sunshade doesn't go past my carseat to help cover during walks (my friend's bob does) so I have to use a blanket for sun. Also, it folds up easy and is pretty light, but it takes a bit of a fight to get it in my VW passat trunk. Neither of these are deal breakers though because the pros totally make it worth it to me.
