We have one and I love it and want another. I am able to stuff it with both inserts for overnight wear and still have a relatively trim diaper for my little guy.
I like them, they held up great over 2 years of use -- but they are thick and not my favourite. LOVE the inserts though, I use their bamboo inserts in my other pocket diapers for nap/bed time.
I love them and wish all my kawaii were the minky bamboo. I prefer the ones with the square tabs and the extra tummy strip (not sure which version it is) just because I have a skinny boy and the wings can get funky on the rounded version ones. They come in awesome colors (the neon orange is my favorite colored one) and the seemed to hold up really well. I dont think they are overly bulky but all the kawaii diapers are on the larger side compared to others I own.

I have 2 and like them. For some reason P tends to feel a little more wet around the leg holes when she wears them. I don't know if that is just user error though. They should have been washed and dryed enough by now. I love the outside- very very soft. The inside seems to get rougher with use but not rough rough- just not as soft as brand new. They don't seem any more bulky to me than any other diaper. I am a fan of the way Kawaii fits my LO in the first place though. I would give them an 8 out of 10. We have the ocean blue (love it!) and the teddy bears.
I just want to point out that these are all bigger babies in these replies. I see you're still pregnant, it will be months until this diaper fits well.
Not necessarily, it just depends on how big your baby is. My DS was a large baby (8lbs 15oz and 21 in) but he fit into all of our pockets (kawaii, blueberry and fuzibunz) by 6 weeks.
