So, I will admit that we rarely line dry. We use mostly cotton prefolds and fitteds. Anyway, I wanted to sun out some stains the other day so I hung the whole lot on the line. They are stiff and scratchy now. I ran them through the "quick" cycle (15 min) on the dryer in hopes of tumbling them soft and no luck. Ideas?

This. Definitely add a little moisture somehow.
I've actually found that putting them in the dryer for 15-20 min BEFORE putting them out on the line helps them from getting super crunchy and stiff.
either that or take them down off the line when they're still slightly damp and finish up in the dryer.
