Disney cruises

Has anyone gone on a Disney cruise with your toddler LO's? Looking to book on for nexy year. I know they are more $$$ then the regular cruise lines. Any info, tips, etc woujld be great. Hoping to leave out of NY. What size room worked for you and your family? Are there any discounts for Disney cruise Lines at all?

My sister is planning a Disney cruise, but the time you factor in airfare for FL for a for a family of 4 it was almost $10K. They were looking at the most expensive week, after Christmas and the biggest room. After her husband almost had a heart attack, she was thinking about moving the trip to August and getting a smaller room which she said would save around $2K. I have heard those cruises are awesome, though.
