This may have been posted already, but I didn't see it and frankly I'm bored...
So what non-baby related things are you looking forward to once you're past the first few weeks/months of life with a newborn? (Yes, having a baby is a wonderful miracle and I'm sure some of us are floating on clouds in anticipation and wonder while cute little cherubs hum lullabies at our bellies. I'm not talking to you right now. P.S. Stop smoking crack. It's bad for the baby and the cherubs. lol)
I'm fantasizing about wearing real shoes rather than my crocs flipflops, buying clothes without wondering if they will be stretchy enough to fit in 2 months, and (drum-roll please) bending over! Oooooh, and rolling over in bed without having to wake up, brace my belly with my hands, and reposition 3 pillows.
Re: Things You're Looking Forward to (NBR)
I can't wait to sleep on my stomach and not take up 3 times to pee (I'm sure i'll be up more with LO but that's different IMO). I can't wait to fit into something besides flip flops and drink a glass of wine!
ETA: I also can't wait to wear my wedding rings again. I've had them off for months and miss them so much! My fingers feel like they've doubled in size and I hate it!
I'm looking forward to having a private cervix again. I can't even count how many strangers have asked me how far dilated I am. I keep biting back questions like, "What was the consistency of your last poo?" So they understand that it's none of their business.
I also miss lazy sex. The creative lengths we have to go to are so exhausting that half the time I want to give up and take a nap instead.
First few weeks...a glass of wine.
About 6+ months out...Vegas. Naturally.
Totally with you on the shoes! I HATE flip-flops, but they're pretty much all that fit now, and it's not worth the money or effort to go buy shoes that won't fit in a few weeks anyway.
I'm looking forward to cuddling with DH at night! I have my mountain of pillows to help with back ache and heartburn, but I miss the nights when I could sleep with my head on his shoulder.
This probably sounds ridiculous, but I miss cooking, too! I obviously still cook dinner, but some of my favorite meals require about an hour standing on a tile floor... I'm just not up to it anymore, so we've been eating a lot of hamburger helper and easy casseroles. As soon as the swelling in my feet go down, I'm going to make a lasagna and cannolis to celebrate.
Having feet that don't look like they belong to Fred Flintstone!, wearing some of my normal clothes again, sleeping on my stomach (or being able to rollover without the use of a crane). Having my body back to myself (with the exception of my boobs, but I don't care about them).
Wine/any other kind of booze. Eating more freely than I can right now especially sushi and beef carpacio---Yum!
Having my hair fall out (yes I am actually excited to have my hair start back on a cycle of falling out--my hair is super thick and curly and I can barley brush it let alone style it right now).
Having the focus on the baby and not on me.
Hopefully getting rid of this acne!
All of the above!!!
I would also add that I'm excited to lose the pregnant waddle.
all of these things!
Picking up my sweet puppy. he's way too big for me to hold now.

1. Bottle of wine... pump and dump, ladies! Seriously-- I need a break from MYSELF!
2. Sushi, tomato sauce (F@#* YOU REFLUX!), Jimmy Johns (disgusting habit)
3. Running/exercising
4. Freedom from weirdos' unsolicited remarks.
5. Fewer doctor appointments (fingers crossed).
6. Jeans and heels! (If #3 actually happens).
Being able to help DH with our move (we are moving in August and he's packing everything himself now) and then moving. It's a big step for us - moving a few hours away
Enjoying a good glass of wine!
Going to the Jimmy Buffett concert later this summer
Sleeping on my stomach
Exercising/walking (too painful now due to sciatica)
Being able to get down on the floor to play with my 3-year old
