Ok, I know I completely hype myself up on stupid things, but how sore are you after ER?  I know you don't go to work the same day, but do you go back the next?

I was able to go back to work the day after mine - I wasn't feeling 100% - but I also sit at a desk so it wasn't bad.

I took 2 days off, the day of and another. I was pretty sore for about 4 days. It seems that soreness is related to # of eggs retrieved, at least what I've seen here.

I went to work the next day. I wasn't too bad, just walked a little slower than normal.

I wasn't too sore. I was tired more than anything. Luckily our ER was on a Friday so I didn't have to work Sat. or Sun. but I do remember being tired and if I did have to work I probably would want the following day off so that I could also be home for the fert report. GL!

Everyone has a different experience. I had 12 retrieved n over stimmulated. I was able to go back to work on the 4th day w/o feeling pain but walking very slow. That evening I got horrible pains n couldn't walk for 2 days thank god the weekend approached. It's been a week and 4 days. I have no more pain but still very bloated. Pants don't fit, but b/c I am over stimmulated n ovaries r still enlarged. I been wearing only dresses to feel comfy. Actually gonna buy a belly band after work so I can wear my jeans.

I had 17 retrieved and I honestly felt fine. If you're on Vicodin, you don't want to be at work though. I could have worked the following day with no problems, just mild AF cramping.

I may be a rare case, but I was hyper stimulated and got really sick. My RE retrieved 19 eggs, and my E2 levels was up around 7000 and ovaries were very large. I tried to return back to work, but the nausea was too bad for me and I took about 4-5 days off work. GL with your ER!!
