  • Megan is not 80s to me, its a nice name and I love the nn Meg or Meggie.
  • Its a pretty 80's-90's name to me. I don't really mind it though.

Unique spelling the only thing I don't like about this spelling is people pronouncing wrong and saying that's not how you spell Megan.

  • I love it. I almost included it on the list I put in your previous thread, but no one ever seems to like it!  It was on my short list for DD1.

  • There's a Megan in my family, so I am a little partial, but I like it. I definitely prefer the Megan spelling. Keep it simple.

It's 80's to me but still a pretty name and I have not heard the name on any children recently-I like it.

  • My name is Megan and I can honestly say I love it.  As a child I was called meggie and in high school and college nick name was Meg.  I know there are many spellings but I think Megan is a great spelling.  Good luck on the name and whatever you pick will be lovely!  Megan
  • Love it. I was born in '86 and I never had a Megan in my class so I don't see how it's "too 80s."

  • It is a little 80s to me, but I don't think that's bad.  It's less likely that your daughter will know anyone her age with her name.

  • Megan is pretty 80's to me but then again, I think it's because I had a lot of them in my graduating class.
