I have the Combi Twin Sport (in green) and I love it. It turns easily, and is VERY lightweight. I also love how flat it folds, and that it folds twice. I have never had a problem with it fitting through doors... it fits through any standard size doorway. I even got it through a turnstyle at a local children's farm.
Downsides: There's only one cupholder (but you can buy another since they are detachable), and the basket space is a little smaller than some other strollers I've seen. However, there are these neat pockets that can hold your keys, wallet, etc. Also, when you consider that it has 2 baskets, it really can hold a good amount.. in fact, now that I think of it, the two baskets together probably equal a very large basket on a single stroller.
I went through this dilema too for months and made the wrong choice to save 200 bucks. DO NOT GET THE COMBI! Once the kids got a little bigger the stroller got so heavy to push and turn. The canopies stink and got all bent out of shape.
I gave up and went out and got the City Mini. What a difference! The stroller glides like a dream. Canopies are awesome and love the storage behind the seats. It fits through everywhere and does not feel like you are pushing a double. I just used it today with my 4 year old and 2 year old and still is so easy to push. You get what you pay for!

I will jump on this bandwagon as well. I love my CMD. It's amazing. It fits through any standard door. I love when people try to hold the door open for me at stores only to realize I don't need any help. Makes me smile a little inside.
The basket is quite small. I didn't buy any attachments for cupholders, accessories, etc. I just shove everything in my diaper bag and extend the strap on the diaper bag and hang it over the handlebar. It works well for us.
My friend has the single and has the child and adult cupholder/tray. I'm not impressed. It's made of cloth/nylon. Not sturdy, although there seems to be plenty of storage. I was hoping for a hard plastic snap on tray for both me and the boys.
I didn't buy the infant car seat attachment. Everything I read said it makes it too bulky. Instead, I just reclined the seat fully, and strapped DS2 in there with a couple of blankets (but you could easily use one of those U shaped carseat inserts).
I'm going to split the vote and vouch for the combi twin to confuse you more. LOL.
I am SO glad I didn't spend a lot on a double. We retired it shortly after DS's 2nd birthday. He never was a big stroller fan and always preferred to walk. We're lucky that he's well behaved and doesn't run off really, so it's not a problem. I loved having a double for certain occasions where we would be walking around for 3+ hours so I could put both kids down or when the baby was brand new and I could just put the bucket seat in the stroller and go, but otherwise I much preferred having my oldest walk/wear baby or push my older in the single while wearing the baby.
I loved the combi because it's so quick to fold/unfold and takes up very little trunk space. It fit through all doorways. It was easy to push (even with 2 toddlers I didn't find it bad but maybe it's because I'm in good shape?). There was storage behind the seats separate from the basket underneath that holds bottles/keys/snacks/cups. I would just use the storage for diapers/other stuff and it was nice to be able to grab a snack or a drink at arm's reach without having to dig underneath the stroller. The canopies definitely kind of suck-that is my only real vent about the stroller.
2. The Combi seemed "flimsier" and didn't get as good reviews.
3. The leg space on the Combi was small, my very tall toddler almost didn't fit and I want him to ride in it for another 2 years at least. No way, not comfortably. He was smushed in it now.
4. The "ride" wasn't as good. It wasn't as easy to push, easy to steer, and it definitely couldn't go "off roading" anywhere, which I would do a lot.
5. The resale value of the City Mini is really good. You can buy one new for 399, used for 299, and people on craigslist are always begging for them. That makes the cost to you about 100. With the Combi, you could buy it new for around 270, used for around 90. So even though it was a cheaper stroller, the cost to me was going to be more, even if I factored in buying the belly bar and parent console. That made the City Mini a nobrainer.
I will say that both of my kids seemed very comfortable in the Combi, probably had the edge over the City Mini for that. But they both love the City Mini too and my 6 month old falls asleep every time he gets in it so that's all that matters.

I recommend it highly.

I debated them for a long time.
I went with the City Mini GT for a few reasons.
1. The sunshade on the Combi sucks.
2. The Combi seemed "flimsier" and didn't get as good reviews.
3. The leg space on the Combi was small, my very tall toddler almost didn't fit and I want him to ride in it for another 2 years at least. No way, not comfortably. He was smushed in it now.
