I just had my baby boy 2 weeks ago, and while I will never be able to have the vaginal delivery I dreamed of, I had as close to a dream delivery as I could have. My experience with my DD was awful to say the least. I dreaded having another baby for fear that I would have another experience like I did with her. Fortunately I switched to a fantastic OB/GYN at a fantastic hospital and had a great experience this time around.
DH and I have always wanted at least 4 kids (more if we could), however that changed a little after having DD. It was we wanted 4 kids but if I could not have the 4 we wanted we would most likely stop at 2 or even three. Now with my perfect delivery with DS, I find myself hoping that we can have more than the 4 we originally wanted (I come from a "big" family of 6 kids and have always wanted a large family myself). DH has agree that if we have good jobs and can afford it he would be open to more. Obviously if it is not advised by my OB we wont have any more than what he says is safe for me to do. If that is the case we would adopt.
So my question: Have any of you had more than 4 sections? Are any of you considering having more than 4 sections?
Re: Would you consider having more than 4 c-sections?
No. This will be my 4th and final c-section. I don't want any more c-sections. I know there are 1 or 2 on here that have had more, but it won't be in the cards for me.

No and it is not something I would consider. MH and I have talked about this and we both agree that the potential complications are not something we want to gamble with. I hope to VBAC next baby but with a cephalopelvic disproportion dx, i think its BS, I will probably have to fight for it so who knows.
I opted to VBAC in case I wanted more children. I can tell you that my SIL had 4 c/s's and had c/s related complications with the last two. They advised her after #4 not to have any more children for her safety and the safety of the children (the last two babies had NICU stays from the complications, though both are fine).
Every person is different, though. I think they do an evaluation after each c/s and let you know if they believe any issues are cropping up. There are people out there who have many more than 4 c/s's.

Thank you for all your responses. I appropriate all of your comments. While I am well aware of the risks involved with having multiple c-sections and wish that I could have a a successful VBAC delivery, I know that it will not be possible for me. So I have no option but to have c-sections for any future deliveries.
I have talked with my OB regarding the fact that we would like a larger family. He told me he has done as many as 7 on one patient and that he would evaluate me with each c-section and let me know what he thought. I stressed to him at no point did I want to risk it if it ment that I would lose my life and leave my children or lose the life of a child. He assured me he would give me his best evaluation.
I am just looking for others who have gone through it.
