When you wash your 4.0's do you undo all the snaps or do you just leave them snapped to your baby's size?

I leave them snapped. 

I often hang dry the inserts with my covers, in which case I will unsnap only the insert part just so that it dries more quickly. The covers wash and dry great snapped up.

I don't unsnap my inserts and have never had an issue.  We did have some stink, but after using them for almost a year I'd say that is expected.  We stripped with RLR and they are good as new.

This..minus the RLR part. I very rarely have stink issues (and then usually it's a matter of I let the wash sit too long).

I don't have energy to snap or unsap all the time. Sometimes if I'm short on close pins or it's super windy I'll snap them over the line...works great!
