I'm running out of breakfast ideas for DS. He really doesn't like pancakes and waffles and I can't give him eggs every day. I've been trying oatmeal forever and he wouldn't eat it and then FINALLY this morning he downed a bowl, so hopefully that's something that I can put in the rotation, but I still need other ideas...?

Re: Need breakfast ideas (besides pancakes, waffles, and eggs)
English muffins with PB
Cereal
yogurt w/ granola, cereal, fruit, muffins
I do a rotation/combination of:
-Scrambled eggs w/ whole grain toast
-Fruit salad w/ yogurt
-Oatmeal w/ grated apples
-Whole grain toast with PB and jam
If your kid like eggs, I don't see what's wrong with making eggs every morning?

Do you use the instant oatmeal flakes, like Gerber or Happy Baby? If so, those will mix into applesauce, and there are a ton of flavors of it these days like berry applesauce and peach apple, etc. DD loves having applesauce oatmeal.
Our rotation is waffles, pancakes, french toast, eggs (when DH will allow the smell), cinnamon sugar toast, different breads (zuccini, banana, pumpkin, ect), muffins, scottish oatmeal, crepes, and english muffins or scones.
I serve almost everything with fruit and milk. For scones and muffins we put fresh preserves on it and a little butter. Every once in a while DD will get loaded hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy as well. That is very rare though. For syrups we usually do boysenberry syrup for things that use syrup. She loves breakfast.
Oh, and muffins. Muffins are a big hit here. I make a ton at a time and freeze them then just put 4 in the fridge the night before and pop them in the microwave to warm them up in the mornings.
DD1 loves muffins.

Cream of wheat. Frittata. Breakfast burrittos with any combo of hashbrowns, chicken sausage, beans, eggs, cheese......
English Muffins, raisin toast and fruit
I made a stuffed french toast recipe (from WW) a couple weekends ago for DS and DH and it was delicious and they both ate it up.
My kids also will not eat oatmeal, never would as babies & still won't.
Cottage cheese, yogurt, fruit, dry cereal or cereal with milk once LO is better w/ a spoon, cheese toast (put toast in the broiler w/a slice of cheese on it), banana w/ PB, muffins, banana bread (TJs has a ridic easy box mix that my kids devour).
DS loves loves loves turkey bfast sausages, i make them prob twice a week for him.
