I have been using a pocket (BG 4.0 or Sunbaby) with a GMD PF and hemp doubler for overnight and it worked well up until lately. The last few nights we've had leaks, and I'm pretty sure it's not a fit or repelling issue because both the PF and the doubler are soaked. I guess he's wetting more now that he's getting older (he also nurses all night).
I'm thinking I should try fitteds. Can you recommend your routine?
Re: I need a new nighttime routine, fitteds?
I had issues with leaks at night when LO was still nursing several times at night so I just change him. Now he nurses once (sometimes none) and I don?t have leaks. I use a prefold with a BG doubler (sometimes add a NB insert if going to bed early) but a Econobum cover. The key to our nighttime routine was the Econobum cover. The BG's seemed to gap somewhere or didn?t work well overly stuffed but work perfect during the day.
I didn't think of trying an Econobum cover.. I have some of those and will try that tonight. Thanks! I'd like to get away without having to buy anything new. I just read through the thread about overnight diapering on the FAQs. Good suggestions there, too.
