All of my pre-pregnancy pants started fiting me again around 4-5months PP. I still have a layer of fat around my belly that didn't used to be there, but its not too bad.

this. my hips never really got bigger during pregnancy.
And my butt is shrinking, I swear, my jeans are loose in my butt. Which is SO odd because I am pear shaped.
I do have a flabby belly and need a lot of toning there still, though.
I am within 1-2 lbs of my pre preg weight, depends on the day.

I have about 4lbs. that refuse to leave my sides. However, like the above poster, my butt is smaller than it was pre-baby? Smaller butt and bigger boobs, I shouldn't be complaining! All my clothes fit about 3 months pp.

When I was pregnant with DD, I ended up leaving the hospital 10 pound lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight. As time went on I continued to lose weight to the point of being nearly 20 pounds under my prepregnancy weight at 4 weeks pp. I was unable to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans at the time. It took a few months for things to shrink back down to normal size and a little more weight loss.
Prior to getting pregnant with DS I was nearly 50 pounds from my pregnancy weight with DD (a year later) and just going down one size in jeans. However this time is proving to be different. Right now I am able to get the same (smaller) sized jeans on but not quiet button them yet. Hopefully as more of the swelling goes down and I am able to lose the last 10 pounds (and then some) I will fit into them again. Until then I wear my maternity jeans with a be band.
I got down to my pre-preg weight pretty quickly after my c/s but my body shape is different than is was pre-preg. My hips are definitely wider. FWIW, they didn't get any wider after my second birth (thank goodness!) which was a vaginal birth. But I think pregnancy just changes the shape of most people.
My thighs and butt fit into my old pant a long time ago, but I have a problem with saggy belly skin and love handles that hang over the top of my pants if the waist band is at all too tight.

It took until 6.5 months to get back into pre-pregnancy pants.
I'm actually below pre-pregnancy weight now and a size smaller than before kids (chasing 2 kids under 2.5 who eat all your food for you is immensely helpful for this! lol)
