Maya wrap: help

I cannot figure this thing out!! Any tips? I've watched the dvd and you tube videos. It gets twisted and (stupid question) but does the baby go in the pouch between folded material? It doesn't look that way in the dvd. My husband was even trying and getting confused, we're not dumb people! I didn't "wear" my first son, but I'd like to try with my newborn. Any other suggestions would be great. (such as better slings or carriers) I have a baby bjorn but it wasn't very comfortable. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by putting the baby in the folded material so I'm not help there, but we found the videos on the Zolo Wear website to be really helpful when first starting out.
