New and Excited

Hey everyone.  This will be the first month my DH and I TTC and I am so excited, nervous, scared, and anxious at the same time.  Getting pregnant is ALL I can think about no matter where I am, who I'm with, or what I'm doing.  

I am currently on day 4 of my cycle and so we are going to start trying around the 13th and continue through the 18th.  I haven't started charting or taking my temperature yet, but I am hoping we get pregnant this month so I don't have to.  I'm not lazy, but the more work I have to put into TTC the more I fear I won't be able to GP.  I don't know.  Any thoughts on this?

Anyone else in their first month TTC?

I know what you mean! I'm trying not to over do the research, charting, etc these first few months of trying. Stress causes problems with conception and the more I do things like this the more stressful it becomes. If we are not successful in the first 6 months or so, I will start to dedicate more time to these things. For now we are just going to have fun trying:) :)Sending baby dust your way!

I'm with you!  We're also in our first month... and it's hard to distract myself!  Especially right now for me, in the 2ww.  I took a test this morning, MUCH too early (only on 6 DPO) which I can now tell you is a BAD idea.  No need to feel let down when there's almost no way the test will even work.

We were trying with no success so then we decided to stop worrying about it and focus on other things...low and behold I ended up getting pregnant! So don't feel silly, it can happen just don't stress too much over it.

Thanks!  Your baby will almost have my birthday  Mine is January 2nd.  Our friends have 2 beautiful girls and they got pregnant on the first try with BOTH of them......which gives me hope.  It's hard to read about the struggles of other people though (not to sound callous) but it always makes me worry about if that will happen to me so we are going to try for a few months and see what happens, and if that doesn't work I'll try other things .  I am on day 4 of my 5 day period so I can't wait for it to be over so we can get busy!

No I understand what you're saying and sometimes I have to step away from TB myself to gain some sanity. You can drive yourself crazy with the "what ifs" you develop by reading other people's stories. Just take what you read with a grain of salt and remember that every person is different and everything happens for a reason.

This is my first moth trying. I got off BCP in may! I am super excited i am charting but i suck at it lol its not stressful to me though. It's kind of like an exciting game for me plus gives me something to do since i have babies on the brain lol.
