What can go wrong...

Will go wrong

I bet a lot of us feel like the heavens are conspiring against us. Just got a call from my doctors office and yippie I have a yeast infection. Normally I wouldn't care too much except my EDD is in 7 days and it takes 7 days to treat.

So while I have been hoping and praying that my little guy comes on time even a couple of days early, now I'm praying he stays put for a couple days beyond my EDD.

Dealing with thrush right out of the gate does not sound like a party to me.

  • Aren't there a few three day treatments?

  • I'm sorry to hear that.  I hate yeast infections.  I hope it clears up for you fast!   By the way, your fury babies are adorable.

Unfortunantly 3 and 1 day treatments are too strong to use during pregnancy according to my doctor =

Mostly a lurker here. My doctor, who is high risk and amazing, said that the 3 day treatments are fine. He doesn't recommend the 1 day treatments because most of the time they end up not completely working in pregnant women. I had a yeast infection and used the 3 day treatment with no problems. It might be worth considering since you're so close to your due date.

     This.

I'm in the midst of a nasty yeast infection too. I called my dr.'s office today and she said using the 3 day treatment was fine, even though my due date is in 3 days and I'm nearly 2cm dialated.

  • Diflucan! 1 pill when you get the prescription and 1 other pill 2 days later (hence the 3 day treatment). It worked WONDERS for me during my 2nd trimester.

Yep, I second this.  I hate the creams.
