Early on we were told DS had eczema and after researching about it it didn't seem as bad as some kids/people get it and there are no allergies/intolerances to any foods in our families. So I figured his was environmental, and after changing to all natural products no more eczema--except for the rare occasion that someone wearing strong perfume hugs him his face flares up.
However, I'm starting to think it might be food related(which apparently is the case on the vast majority of eczema cases). But what I'm wondering is, is it possible to develop an intolerance days, weeks, or even months afte being exposed to the culprit?
DS developed a rash the other day and I can't blame it on any outside source, he did however started drinking WCM about two weeks ago. I've been reading up on how grains/gluten are bad and I'm starting to wonder if MY allergies are related to this as well because since my 20s I've had allergies year round that no doctor can figure out what I'm allergic to but I have a runny nose every. Single. Day.plus dry skin and always suffer of GI problems(don't want to get to descriptive here lol).
So, is it possible that DS's rash is food related even after being exposed to it for days, or am I over thinking this and maybe he was just took sweaty that day and it's just prickly heat?
