Trying to Get Pregnant

Anyone use Vitex while TTC?

Morning Ladies!

I have been reading about Vitex extract online and it helping with PMS symtoms, cramps, assist with consistant cycles, etc...all while helping a woman conceive. I was wondering if anyone has tied this, heard of it, or has any advice on the product?

Thanks in advance!!

  • I have no personal experience, but from what I read Vitex is used to "regulate" your hormones.  I would talk to your doctor before taking anything that affects your hormones, you may end up doing more harm than good.

  • I've never heard of this, but I would love to ask my doctor about it next time! Is it something you can buy over the counter?

We've been trying for 8 months, and I had my annual appointment yesterday and was talking to my doctor about my lack of success thus far. She actually brought up Vitex and said I could try it if I want. She doesn't think it's a miracle product by any stretch but in my case she didn't think it would hurt either. I'm not planning to try it at this point, but as I creep closer to the year mark, I might.
