A Question..... (Toenail Fungus)

Hi

 I'm wondering if anyone has had a toenail fungus and how did you treat it?  I've tried rubbing Vicks on it, for awhile, but don't remember to do it every night........ My dr said there is a pill I could take but something about it decreases Liver Function?  and then he said he could prescribe me PIggy Paste, which will make my toenail fall off........... I'd do that, but don't want to be without a toenail for the summer????

Just wonder if anyone has any recommendations??

My husband had this problem. He used the pills which he took for the first 7 days of 4 months. He ended up having no issues with his liver (though his dr said that was a possible side effect too). His Dr said that none of the topical stuff really works.

His nail is almost nearly grown out now and it looks 100% better than it did before.

I was just watching Dr Oz last week, and he had a home remedy with tea tree oil in it.  I don't know it exactly, but I bet it's on the website.  Could be worth a try!
