False alarm...

So I was up all night Sunday with an awful back ache and some contractions.  This went on for 12 hours straight.  I could not lay down, sit or stand.  It was terribly uncomfortable.  So we went to the hospital yesterday and they hooked me up and I was having contractions and dilated to 2 cm.  After 3 hours of monitoring they sent me home.  What a bummer.  They back ache did go away so I was able to sleep last night.  Still having some contractions and lost a large part of the mucus plug today. 

I am trying not to get my hopes up too high but I am back at work today and hating every minute of it.

I'm sorry that you had a false alarm. I had a few of those too... They really are a bummer. Hopefully all of those contractions and the loss of your mucus plug means that labor is on its way!
