Success stories with a 2 day transfer?

Hi everyone, just looking to see if anyone had success with a 2 day transfer?  My female organs are not the reason we are doing IVF, we are dealing with MF (azoospermia), and decided to go the DS route.  I had 23 eggs retrieved on Saturday, which we were very happy with. My clinic was very cautious not to overstimulate me.  Then we got the call that 21 were matured and only 3 fertilized and that they wanted to do a 2dt, seeing that we didn't have a lot of embryos to work with.  We ended up transferring 1, 2 cell and 1, 3 cell, that were both good quality, but I am still very nervous.  Just looking for any positive stories from you ladies.  I am trying to think good thoughts while laying here in bed!!! Lol

I never had a day 2 transfer, but many day 3 or 5's. I always thought if you were lucky enough to wait to day 5, that was better. However my new RE explained that even if you have lots to pick from, some still believe that some embryos just do better growing in you (where they were meant to be) not the lab. He insisted on a day 3 for me.  So maybe getting your embryos back inside sooner rather than later is a good thing? FYI, my latest day 3 transfer is going great so far. Good luck to you!

I got my bfp today after a 2dt of 2 embies... we did a 2dt because they were the only ones we had.

My husband's cousin did a 2dt because she only had 2 fertilize...and now she is about 12 weeks pregnant with a singleton...so I know it can happen!  Good luck!

Well that sounds promising!  I just need some positive stories to keep me optimistic.  Thanks for sharing.  Does anyone know how many cells the embryos were?  Thanks again

I BELIEVE, the paperwork i signed right before said 3c & 5c.
