Apopka Swim Lessons

So we had our 24 month old take her first swim lessons last week! I found through a friend in Lakeland a fabulous swim instructor here in Apopka. This girl swam at University of Florida and has been to Olympic trials for swimming. Anyways, I digress:) She worked wonders with Katie. I had originally looked into other swim lesson programs but they were either group so she would get like 5 minutes a day between all the rest of the kids or ISR (Infant swim resource?!) was 6-8 weeks for 10 minutes a day and I didnt have the time for that.

Her program was called Real Gator Swim School and they came to our house for 30 minutes a day for a week and given homework to help reinforce her lessons after the week was over. They said they can't drown proof her but she was practicing falling in the pool and turning around and swimming to the wall. Once we feel Katie is good with these few skills we are definatly going back for her next swim lessons. I know good swim lessons are hard to find so I wanted to share our sucess story:) I think they are on facebook. I don't want to list her number on here but I can give you her email if you message me.
