DD's going to go swimming 2x a week this summer. I saw some water proof kid-sized backpacks on One Step Ahead, but the shipping is a little ridiculous.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheaper place to buy (or order one?)
Do you want something waterproof for the bathing suit or towel too? Justice, believe it or not, has "bikini bags" for bathing suits and jelly bags (like jelly shoes, but bags) for the pool. 5Below also has bikini bags for $4-$5. A mesh beach bag might be good for the pool too or one of those cheapy cinch back packs that you can throw away at the end of the summer if it gets gross. I use those for camp a lot b/c I don't care if they get lost. (I think Justice also sells those made out of towel material too).
We've been using the cheap bags from the Disney store that are something like $3 and look just like reusable grocery bags. Girls love them because they could pick out whatever favorite character they wanted, they're cheap, and they've worked fine so far for swim stuff I'm pretty sure you could wash them too if you needed to.

I use the reusable bags from ToysRUs. You can wash them!
Re: swim bag for your preschooler?
ahhhhh - Justice!
Hmmmm - well I guess I'd have to go into Justice, but this might be OK!
I know! I don't love their clothes, but they have really cute accessories. You can always order online. ;-)
