What about Elyanna?

Another name DH and I like is Elyanna, but we prefer the spelling Elyanna over Eliana or Elianna. Is that really bad?

I say it like EL - yanna. I dont like the look or sound. I say keep looking. The original spellings are much prettier.

I prefer Eliana because I dislike Y's, and I think it looks more sophisticated this way. But as always, if you and DH agree on a different spelling, go with it.

I'm not crazy about that name. I had two friends name their daughters Eliana and Ayana born at the same time. I still don't know which is which or what the heck their names are. It is a weird/confusing name to me.

I think the name is really pretty, but I personally prefer the spelling Eliana. Elyanna looks misspelled to me, and I would pronounce it "El-ee-ann-uh" because of the double "n."

I prefer Eliana. That's the only way I've ever seen it spelled and it feels "correct" to me like that.

I don't feel like this is a case of a name, like Sylvia or Lydia, where it's spelled with an "i" in one language and spelled with a "y" in English. Stick with the "i."

I don't like the spelling with the Y and two N's. It looks messy. I like Eliana. El-ee-on-uh

I think one N makes it AN-uh and two N's makes it ON-uh.

This is one of those name that I heard it once and then I was just tired of it . I don't like it at all, but if you use it I agree with PP, spell it Elianna.
