40w2d and baby isn't dropping

Dr. did ultrasound this morning and found baby is not dropping and there is a lot if fluid between head and cervix. Being that we are already overdue he is worried that there could be complications if my water broke (i.e. cord slipping out before head or baby swollowing fluids, etc) so c-section is scheduled for 5:30 tonight. We just came home to pack up and then we will head out to the hospital.

Wow they scheduled a c-sect already?  You know you can say no and wait that thing out too if you want.  So many times Drs tell us one thing just to inform us of the possible risks but it is up to you if you want to wait a few more days and check with another u/s.  GL though, you will soon meet your LO.
