dr gave eviction notice

Tomorrow night i go into the hospital and they will start my induction with the cervidil and then wednsday morning he will start thepitocin if needed. Im hoping this goes smooth. My dr is very confident since my cervix is almost 100% effaced. Im still only dialted at a 1. But hes not worried. Im scared to be induced heard the horror stories but shes wel past her due date. Its time

    There is a birth story down below where she went into get induced and the Miso, I'm assuming it works the same as cervidil by softening the cervix,  she was given alone made her go into labor so no pitocin needed.  If I end up being induced I am hoping that this is the case for me too....I am honestly scared to death of the pitocin lol.

    GL!  I was induced with DS1 using Cervadil & wasn't as far along & my cervix wasn't as favorable as yours, and it jump started me into labor...my water broke on it's own a few minutes after they removed the Cervadil & I never needed pitocin.  I had an easy-breezy 10 hour labor and DS1 came after only 15 minutes of pushing.  Fingers crossed that the same goes for you!!

    I will definatly keep you guys posted. Im so scared and anxious. My dr said hes very confident it will be a success. He talkedto me the risks etc and chances of leading to a c/s but two weeks ago he guessed her weight to already be 8lb14oz so he said thats a risk also. I hope he was off by a pound or two hahaha

    My OB told me the more important of the two is effacing if you are being induced so the fact that you are already effaced but barely dilated doesn't seem to be too concerning. I bet it will all work out beautifully for you :)

    good luck and don't worry I was induced via folley bulb at 41 weeks 1 one day and had her 41 weeks 2 days.  I did need pit but did not need a c or vacuum etc..
