Zoe was born 2/24/12 (17 days early) and Isabella is so excited to be a big sis! Thinking about having one more kiddo...we'll see.
Ideas??
So I saw that a lot of ladies wanted our board to be more active. I know I get really busy to check on here. I posted a lot on the FB group before, but then felt guilty that I didn't use that time with my LO. What can we do to pick up the pace? I'll try to post something on here every day unless you guys get sick of that.

Lol. This seems to be the mellow part of the group, but I'm still terrified of FFFC. I like this idea. It was hard to follow on FB because the post request would get lost and it would just be bunch of pics or answers. Sometimes I didn't know what to post- it'll work much better on here.
It's amazing. I dropped the FB group 2 weeks ago and haven't seen a single BF/FF discussion, comment, insinuation, etc.
What is FFFC?
I agree, looks like alot of ladies would like to make this board more active with baby related topics and without the drama.

FFFC Friday Flame Free Confession. You could confess something that you feel guilty of, supposed to be without criticism, but there's always some holier than thou moms out there that are ready to attack at will, so we'll skip those.

OK so Friday can be Feeding Frenzy Friday - anything having to do with food...LO's food intake, or even a new recipe that you've tried??
This is what I was thinking, like "Favourite Things Friday". That way it could be about anything: fave thing your baby did that week, fave baby product, or even something not baby related I guess.
I am not really a fan of FFFC either. It just seems like an opportunity to launch personal attacks or gang up on people.
Not famililar with the abbreviations (sorry!)-HDBD?
HDBD is Hump Day Bump Day....previously on Wednesdays (Hump Day) mommies would post pictures of their bellies when pregnant. We could keep that and post a pic of us either wearing our loved ones (LO) or a progress picture if you are trying to lose the baby weight. Your choice on that one.
Just an idea... what about Funny Face Fridays.... post pictures of our little ones funny faces of the week.
Love this idea. The only thing I liked about the FB group was the Wordless Wednesdays so Funny Face Friday could take the place of that.
Now I just have to learn how to post a pic
I lurked on here from the beginning of my pregnancy without posting and I'll bet a lot of other people did, too so I'm trying to get more active now in actually posting to keep the group moving and hopefully others will, too. I think it's a little easier to jump in now that things have slowed down. I'm normally one of those people that never shuts up on message boards but I was so sick throughout my whole pregnancy that even typing made me nauseous so reading was about all I could handle! I quietly joined the FB group but I hate the way FB does groups. It's so disorganized and there's no great way to sort through things. It's just not my favorite style of message board. It was actually way better before they did the new style groups. I run a FB group for another group I belong to and we all sort of slowly quit posting as much because we hate the set up.
That being said, keep on posting. I love the idea of a regular cute outfit post especially since my tank of a son seems to only get to wear things once before he grows out of them so I try to at least get my money's worth by taking pics. I'm dying to get my son into the water this summer so we'll definitely have to have pool and beach pics, too. Maybe around the 4th of July?
