SD was in a recital this weekend. Dress rehearsal was last Thursday night so DH, myself, and BM all were there (BM has another child also in the same dance school) getting the kids ready to go on stage, taking photos, etc...
When SD and her sister were finished rehearsing we were getting ready to leave and SD couldn't find her shoes. BM said to her "I handed you your shoes when we left the locker room. Why didn't you go give them to your mom?"
Everybody kind of stopped and looked at her funny. Thankfully when realized her mistake she just started laughing and kinda hugged me with one arm. So we all laughed. And after a truly horrible week, it really made me feel good.
Re: Little laugh
That is really nice, and funny.
