Um...did my water just break?

FTM and I feel completely clueless as to what's going on most of the time with my own body.

I took a shower tonight and during it I had the sensation that I had been jab in the abdomen firmly and that the baby had just dropped a couple of inches suddenly. Immediately after, I thought I peed myself. It was very sudden, so I didn't think to try to note much about the fluid or to try to stop the flow.

It was such a weird experiene. Has anyone else just had the baby suddenly drop? Or was that the "snap" of my water breaking?  This whole process should come with a manual...

By now you have probably figured it all out but when my water broke I felt a pop and had consistent trickles for a long time.

Yes, on Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kourtney's water continued to leak for a while.  So it must be true

My water broke with DS. I got up in the night to pee, and definitely heard a pop. When I sat down to pee, there was a splash in the toilet. It continued to trickle out over the next few hours and I went through about 10 maxi pads in an hour.
