I like this name a lot. But is it a nickname? If so for what? Do you think it ages well?

I love it.  I knew a girl in college named Marnie and it seemed very appropriate for an adult.  I think of it as a regular name, not necessarily a nn.

This is what I would think. When I first saw the name though I thought of the evil witch from True Blood from last season- but I'm a fan of TB so I don't think regualr people would connect that.

One of my best friends is named Marnee. Not short for anything. She is 35 and the name fits her really well. I think it would be a cute name for a little girl, too
