If you're already planning for a VBAC then The VBAC Companion is a good one. I also really liked reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth--I found it very empowering and encouraging to have faith in my body to deliver naturally (there are several VBAC stories in it).

Thanks! I've been planning on trying for a vbac before I even had my csection. My midwife is on board but I'm very early in my pregnancy. I just want to learn if there is anything I can do from this early point to lead me in the right direction.
BFP#1 10/26/09 EDD 7/4/10 Beautiful Baby Boy born 2 weeks late 7/16/10
BFP#2 8/23/11 EDD 5/11/12 Natural Miscarriage @ 6 weeks
BFP#3 5/22/12 EDD 2/10/13 Stick Baby!
There is, sadly, a real lack of good VBAC books -- especially recent ones. Someone really needs to write one. I read The VBAC Companion and liked it though.
