My LO had such a long night last night. She just learned to roll back to belly and now keeps rolling over in her sleep. She hates being on her belly and wakes up screaming and crying when she rolls on her belly. She was up about every half hour last night and cried so much she sounds hoarse. I don't let her CIO so I flipped her back to her back everytime, but she just kept rolling over to her tummy and crying. I stayed there and just pat her and at one point even wrapped my arms around her and put my head on her back to try and soothe her. It was heartbreaking to hear her cry like this but i know if I hold her (like i sooo wanted to) all night it will be impossible to sleep myself. Anyone's LO go through this and if so what did YOU do to help make them feel secure in this developmental transition? TIA

This. DS lasted a week and then went back to normal.

This, but eventually she started rolling over the blankets...then it took her about 2-3 days before she figured out she liked sleeping on her tummy. That and she learned to roll tummy to back. So now she rolls to her tummy to sleep and rolls back over when she wakes up.
