This may be a silly question, but have you found that some diaper bags just do NOT work for cloth diapers? I am a FTM and plan to cloth diaper and assumed I could just get a wet bag and use whatever diaper bag I like but just wanted to check. This is the one I am currently eyeing:

Also, are there any books or websites you found helpful for starting the process? I am very lucky since my mom is making cloth diapers for me, but as I read the board I am a little overwhelmed by all the pre-wash, special detergent, what to dry and how, etc. info. I still think it is all worth it, but wanted to see if there is anything you guys recommend.
Thank you!
Re: Diaper bag?
Its easy to get overwelmed. But once you start you'll get it! I just use the diaper bag I bought at target. I just throw everything in there. Wipes, Diapers, Clothes, Travel wetbag. Bottles food. Etc! No organization necessary, diaper bag should be on the bigger side though since cloth is bulkier.
With the prewash special detergent stuff. There are tons of cloth diaper blogs out there. We just rinse cold, warm wash w/ rinse(Detergent) and then run a second rinse. Easy! We use country save deteregent that I can find at our local natural food store. I just use this because our local cloth diaper store suggested. Good luck and hope this helped alittle.
I was overwelmed too but it quickly became manageable and the norm.
Thanks! This is such a helpful response! I am super excited to CD.
