I suppose it could but I've never heard it. It's a nice name I like the nn Bastian. I'd use it for a boy.

So you are looking for a girl name that is not used often?

How about names like Francesca, Penelope, Felicity, or Camilla.

I don't hear those very often and they would go well with Sebastian as a sibset.

Obama'a mother was named Stanley. She went by Ann though.
