I feel like I should know the answer...

So I'm almost a week from my due date, and have been constantly reading everyone's questions and answers on here, that at this point I feel like I must know everything there is to know about signs of labor, labor, etc.  But here I am with probably a silly question, bear with me!

 So about 4 days ago I noticed that I had brownish tinged discharge, I figured yay I must be losing my mucus plug.  So now it's been 4 days and almost every time I use the bathroom (which as you all can appreciate is often!) I'm still having brownish discharge.  Does it still sound like this is my mucus plug?  I guess I didn't realize it would be this much or take this long to lose?  Any information is appreciated!

That would be my guess. My MP came out and then i've had a tinted discharge the last day. Nothing to worry about though

Ive heard some people say they lose it slowly. Mine was brown alot the first 2wipes then over the next couple times went to bathroom and there was a little and then none.

Probably is, or else you might be close to losing it in big chunk and this is just little bits of it...
