Hi,
I'm new to this board but I have a 17 month old who was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy at 6 months after we feed him his first formula bottle and he burst into head to toe hives. He was subsequently diagnosed with a peanut allergy at 1 year when we did further testing.
Anyway, I'm curious if anyone has had experience with less severe types of reactions. My son has a terrible rash on his bottom and the only thing that has recently changed is we've been giving him broccoli. When he was a baby he would get terrible diaper rash after eating broccoli so we stopped giving it to him but he was never tested for it.
What do you think? Could diaper rash be a sign of an allergy or intolerance? We stopped giving him broccoli (total bummer cause he was loving it) yesterday and the rash is no better today.
Thanks for offering your thoughts!
