If someone wants to use June, April, Winter, etc. as a name is it better if they are born during those times, or does it not matter? I have always wondered this and have a few of these type of names on my list. Thanks!
I know people say it's cheesy to use a name for the month they were born.
However, I have a personal hang up about and think myself it's weird to name a January baby Autumn (Autumn ranks at the top of my list..but I had summer babies!).
If someone else is going to do it either with the association or in a random month I wouldn't think twice about it.
I'd say it's better if they weren't born during the time after which they're named. It's too cheesy otherwise.
Married to my best friend 6/5/10
BFP #1 9/7/10, EDD 5/14/11, Violet born 5/27/11.
BFP #2 4/9/12, EDD 12/16/12, M/C Rory 4/24/12.
BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
I personally don't think it matters. Our baby is due in June, but we are using August as a middle name and would have used Mae as a middle name had it been a girl. Both of them are family names though, so I guess they hold an a different meaning entirely...
As a side note, my sister went to school with the most depressing girl on Earth (dressed in black, talked in monotones, talked about suicude..) - her name was Summer. Ha! Talk about a name that doesn't suit the personality!

Hhaha, this is funny! I went to college with a girl named Summer Day, and she was a cute, bubbly blonde who totally fit the name! I also know 2 Holly's who were born in December, I really don't think its cheesy at all!

Either way is fine to me.

I agree with this!
I know a Summer and she was born in November.
If you like a season name, use it; however, it is a bit cheesy to use season and birth month name together.
It's better if they aren't born during those times.
June is a great name for a girl born in say March... cheesy if she's born in June.
